    • We're looking for a motivated and driven Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) with a focus on the FlixTrain railway business who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

    Your Tasks – Paint the world green

    • You work within the headquarter legal department in a team concentrating on the legal support for the FlixTrain Business and participate in shaping the future development of this business sector. 
    • You independently manage legal support for the execution of complex expansion projects, particularly in areas such as Asset Management, Financing, Real Estate, Maintenance, Procurement. 
    • You are involved in projects which touch multiple simultaneous legal streams (finance, procurement, maintenance, real estate, rail regulatory requirements ,etc.). 
    • You advise and assist in topics related to the Steady State Transition Trainpool of projects, including handling disputes and adjustment requirements with potential legal escalation. 
    • You provide legal advise and analysis to management in relation to strategic decisions. 
    • You handle complex legal considerations and contracts and gracefully navigate multi-layered negotiations.
    • You collaborate closely with internal teams across the group and external legal advisors and consultants to ensure effective and efficient legal support. 
    • You will work within and together with highly motivated teams who aim to shape the future of the company. 

    Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

    • You are a fully qualified lawyer with a degree in law. 
    • You have at least 5 years of practical working experience in a law firm and/or an in-house position. 
    • You ideally have experience in industry-related environments, particularly in railway transportation, asset financing or real estate  projects
    • You have strong and fast analytical skills and commercial understanding. 
    • You are comfortable with complex legal and commercial structures, as well as contract drafting and negotiation.  
    • You can work autonomously while delivering and executing against ambitious timelines 
    • You are comfortable in a startup environment: with entrepreneurial spirit, full of ambition, analytically-minded, and not afraid of fast moving change 
    • You are fluent in with English and German
