NPI (New Product Introduction) Working Student (m/f/d) – ADAM Audio GmbH
Location: Berlin, Germany (remote working option included)
Term: Part time 20 hours a week, temporary for 1 year
Salary: Depending on professional experience

Currently, we are looking for a forward-thinking working student to support our NPI role and to become an integral part of our esteemed pro-audio team. In this role, you will forge close partnerships with the Engineering, Operation and Product teams, collectively charting the course for our innovative endeavours.
What you'll be doing:
As a valued member of our growing Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with the Electronics, Mechanical Design, and Quality Assurance teams to support both our dynamic New Product Introduction (NPI) Programme and ongoing mass production initiatives. Your meticulous attention to detail will help our Senior members of the team to ensure that data released to our contract manufacturers and sub-contractors is of the highest quality and standards. Additionally, you will help maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), as well as helping in creating and effectively communicating Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs).
Furthermore, you will play an important role by helping coordinate prototypes and the pre-production build process at the factories, while skillfully managing relations with European and overseas component and PCB suppliers. Committed to excellence, you will diligently submit new products for regulatory certifications and approvals, adhering closely to established guidelines.
Within our people-focused, multi-functional Design & Engineering team, you will actively collaborate on cutting-edge product development and drive continuous enhancements in our production processes and tools.

An ideal candidate is likely to be/to have:

- Knowledge of ‘component engineering’ & part selection principles for electronics.

- A critical thinker with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
- An interest in music, recording and/or audio (would be beneficial).
