Key Responsibilities:
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and seek out new suppliers through cold calling, cold emailing, and using LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Negotiate and Close Deals: Lead negotiations with potential suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and agreements that align with the company's goals (footwear and apparel brands, multibrand fashion retailers - e-com and offline retail).
- Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new product lines or categories for potential sourcing.
- Build and Maintain Supplier Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing access to high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Sales and Operations Teams.
What You Bring:
- Experience in buying or sales – ideally 3-5 years, preferably in the B2B sector and/or the fashion industry. Career changers with an interest in the fashion and off-price sector are also welcome!
- Success in a dynamic environment: You are skilled at working in a fast-paced, target-driven setting and successfully closing deals.
- Strong negotiation skills: Your ability to act independently and negotiate effectively leads to optimal results for the company.
- Technical Know-How: Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM software such as Pipedrive, along with other sales tools.
- Language Proficiency: English is a must; fluent German is an advantage, as well as additional language skills in French, Italian, or Spanish.
