About the Position

As we work on developing our new programming platform and development boards, we are looking for a Linux OS Specialist who will work on the following:

• Bringing up Linux on a new processor architecture, including:
  • Modifying device drivers
  • Modifying interrupt service routines
• Collaborate closely with Processor Architects on cross-specifying OS and processor architecture and severely modifying Linux routines, including:
  • MMU address translation
  • Task and thread switching and handling

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals and architecture
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with bootloaders (configuration and porting)
• Experience with embedded Linux systems
• Experience creating and modifying BSPs (Board Support Packages)
• Strong debugging skills, particularly in hardware-software interaction
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience with RISC-V is highly beneficial
