In co-operation with Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH, Gasfin Development GmbH is responsible for the construction and commissioning of LNG terminals in the North Sea. The so-called Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU) are of crucial importance for Germany's security of supply.

Tasks

As Terminal Manager / Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the LNG FSRU terminal. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety of staff and all facilities, as well as coordination and communication between the terminal, port operators and service providers in relation to operation and maintenance.

Here you will find a brief summary of the range of tasks:

• Responsibility for the daily operation of the FSRU terminal
• Preparation of daily reports for DET Operations
• Coordination of all production, maintenance, engineering and HSSE work
• Issuing work permits (permit to work)
• Interface with port operators, authorities and service providers

Requirements

A completed technical degree

• Extensive experience in the management of a company in the following sectors
• Chemicals
• Energy
• Hazardous goods
• Very good MS Office skills
• Sound commercial knowledge
• Very good organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise
• Very good written and spoken English
• German language skills preferred
