Ovis Analytics GmbH, founded in 2023, is a start-up from Munich working at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Forestry, and Remote Sensing. Our mission is to enable sustainable forestry with data and AI.

We combine innovative data analytics and modern forestry methods.

Tasks

Collect and analyze geospatial image data (satellite, lidar) from various regions
Use ArcGIS to segment various land uses clusters
Develop methods to continously improve data analysis and validation

Requirements

Currently enrolled (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) in studies such as geography, agriculture, forestry or similar
First experiences in using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing data
Excellent communication skills and a true team player
Interest in forestry and remote sensing technology
Excellent German and English communication skills (B2 and higher preferred)
