As an Energy Market Expert at gridX, you will play a decisive advisory role in the design of our new product module for flexibility. Your expertise in the regulatory aspects of the European energy market will make it easy for you to identify the most important value pools for current and future customers.

• You monitor the dynamic field of flexibility marketing in Europe, keep an eye on trends, especially market designs and regulations, and provide advisory input for our product development
• You are able to translate your market knowledge into new potential product requirements/ideas
• You identify and evaluate new opportunities for marketing household-related flexibilities such as batteries and electric vehicles in different European countries
• You present and communicate your recommendations clearly and comprehensively to various stakeholders, e.g. C-level, product management or development
• You proactively bring your expertise to the company and are the first point of contact for the exciting and future-oriented topic of flexibility
• You actively represent the interests and position of gridX externally and thus shape the energy world of tomorrow

This is how you and your application stand out

• You have a successfully completed degree with a business or technical background and at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role
• You are familiar with topics such as renewable energy generation, electricity grids, electricity trading and know the different players in the market
• You have a deep understanding of the different energy markets and know the special features of the balancing power markets
• You have the ability to analyze complex challenges and present them to various stakeholders in an understandable way
• You have a GetShitDone mentality and strong communication skills in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
