  • Our client is a leading financial institution with a global presence and a reputation for excellence in banking services. They offer a wide range of financial products and services to corporate, institutional, and individual clients.

    Their Investment Banking division offers sophisticated services to a global clientele, emphasizing the highest standards of compliance and integrity. Therefore we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Investment Banking Compliance Officer m/f/d to join our client's team.

    Tasks

    • Examination and support of capital market and securities transactions as well as contractual partners with regard to money laundering and sanction law requirements
    • Technical support for the Investment Bank in Germany and the UK with regard to KYC/CDD processes and sanctions regulations
    • Planning, implementation and documentation of monitoring activities
    • Identification, conception and implementation of training measures
    • Processing of AML/sanctions monitoring alerts in compliance with internal processes and audit-proof documentation

    Requirements

    • Relevant experience in an investment bank or in an advisory environment
    • Experience with securities law and technical processes of securities transactions and capital market transactions (IPOs, capital increases)
    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Many years of experience in AFC & WpHG compliance, preferably within investment banking.
    • Deep understanding of international financial crime regulations (e.g., AMLD, FATF, OFAC, etc.).
    • Strong analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.Professional certification in AML or financial crime compliance (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) is highly desirable.
    • Fluency in German and English
