Freelance UX Designer (m/f/x) for SaaS Platform Interface I 100% remote

We’re looking for an experienced UX designer with a strong portfolio of designing intuitive interfaces for SaaS products. The role will involve creating the customer journey from the moment they sign up to integrating our platform with external tools. You’ll work closely with our development team to bring this vision to life.

Tasks

• Design an intuitive user sign-up and onboarding flow, including steps for account creation and adding payment information (credit card).
• Develop UX designs for integrating with 3rd-party tools (e.g., CRM, file storage, etc.) and communication platforms (Slack, Teams, etc.).
• Create a seamless interface for users to manage their account, configure settings, and view connected apps and data sources.
• Design clear and simple interfaces for users to connect to various data sources and manage permissions for 3rd-party app integrations.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to understand user needs and with the development team to ensure the designs are technically feasible and optimized.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on feedback to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing for AI-driven SaaS products.
• Familiarity with API integrations and how to translate them into user-friendly workflows.
• Basic knowledge of frontend development to work effectively with developers.
• Familiarity with GDPR compliance and designing with privacy in mind.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, particularly in SaaS platforms.
• Proven experience in designing user sign-up and payment flows for web applications.
• Expertise in designing integration workflows for 3rd-party tools (e.g., Slack, Teams, Google Drive, Dropbox, CRM systems).
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
• Ability to create interactive prototypes for development handoff and testing.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Contract Type: Freelance (Project-Based)

Duration: 3-6 months

20h/ month- with potential for extension based on project needs

Project Scope: this is a project-based contract where you will be responsible for delivering the entire customer-facing interface for onboarding, payment setup, and integration with 3rd-party apps and communication platforms. We expect the project to last 3-6 months, with the possibility of extending into further design projects as we expand the platform.
