We seek a Backend Developer to drive our next phase of growth and strengthen our ability to build scalable, high-performance solutions.
Requirements
Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, maintain and improve our enterprise software solution based on a scalable micro service architecture designed for Kubernetes
- Work across the entire backend stack, from designing Kafka events and REST API’s, to database modeling
- Design high quality, performant and scalable products
- Leverage modern data stores, working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
Your profile:
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java technologies and Python
- Strong Java skills and knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns used in enterprise solutions
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, JMS, or AMQP
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Advocate for a strong DevOps culture
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills; designing and implementing solutions to complex technical issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and disciplines
