(Senior)Scientist Cell Culture (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

In this position you will be part of our department Target Validation. The department works on pre-clinical drug target discovery and tests potential drug targets on primary patient derived cells. You will there take responsibility for establishing patient derived cellular models from frozen primary cancer tissue. The candidate is an expert in cell culture and in culturing patient derived cells, organoids and epithelial cell culture..

• Isolate and establish primary cancer cells from frozen patient-derived tumor tissues.
• Develop and maintain 3D organoid cultures from primary cancer cells
• Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records, analyze data, and generate comprehensive reports.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in 3D culture techniques and integrate new technologies to improve model systems.
• Draft SOPs

Our Requirements

• PhD in life sciences, Molecular or cell biology or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience from the biotech/biopharmaceutical industry in preclinical drug development
• Proven experience experience in primary cell culture, including the isolation of cancer cells from patient-derived tissue.
• Experience in organoid and 3D cell culture
