    Are you passionate about the medical device industry and looking to make a difference in people's lives? We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

    Tasks

    • As a Manufacturing Engineer you will work closely with the team at our production site close to Augsburg, Germany.
    • You will act as our Product Realization Manager and play a crucial role in the development and production of cutting-edge medical devices, as you will manage all production tasks administratively and operationally.
    • New Product Development: Collaborate closely with the development team to design and industrialize manufacturing processes for new products. Develop and continuously improve work instructions and manufacturing procedures alongside the manufacturing team.
    • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for medical equipment to ensure high-quality production standards.
    • You contribute hands-on to close issues on a daily basis.
    • This means placing production orders pursuant to material resource planning and transacting production orders within the ERP system.
    • Maintaining ERP master data, especially item master data for production parts and their bill of materials.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing procedures, work instructions, inspection and check instructions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain to improve product design and manufacturability.
    • Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency in the production process.
    • Lead change management within Production.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement improvements and corrective actions (CAPAs) to resolve production issues and improve overall system reliability.

    Requirements

    • The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
    • You have a strong background and hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.
    • You have a profound knowledge of manufacturing processes.
    • You love working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office 365.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment characterise you.
    • A proven problem-solving attitude together with attention to detail help you to navigate through your daily agenda.
    • You have successfully proven strong project management skills, lean principles and
      continuous improvement come natural to you.
    • Knowledge of ISO13485 standard as well as FDA 21 CFR are preferred.
    • You speak English and German fluently.
