    Tasks

    What are we looking for?

    We're looking for an Account Manager to join our international Client Services team in Munich.

    We’re looking for a strong-willed yet personable individual, someone who enjoys being at the forefront, driving campaign to campaign. One who is fascinated by all things creative, digital and media, and wants to broaden their experience and grow their portfolio.

    The right candidate will be someone who takes pride in delivering high quality work that is meticulously thought out and executed – from a simple post to a full-blown end-to-end campaign throughout all channels. They can manage projects independently with minimal supervision and be able to multi-task effectively without dropping any balls.

    They are responsible for having a clear understanding of how brands operate and communicate. Our marketing output stretches right across Integrated Communications, Digital and Social. You must have a passion to drive campaigns right through the channel mix, delivering against brand and business goals. We need energy, charisma and a robust point of view. The Account Manager plays a key role both externally and internally, and needs to be an excellent communicator.

    Your responsibilities as an Account Manager will be to:

    • Support accounts lead in the development and execution of impactful engaging content that delivers against a client’s business and marketing objectives.
    • Be the point of contact and heart of the team ensuring success of campaigns from briefing to production to implementation.
    • Be the internal leader on the assigned projects, and also primary point of contact for partner agencies and internal stakeholders, managing seamless integration on the projects.
    • Understand what things cost and why – manage the numbers and know more about them than anyone else.

    Requirements

    Who are you?

    • You need to bring 2-4 years' experience of working in an advertising agency.
    • You are fast on your feet and able to come up with smart, creative answers to client issues.
    • Know how to recognize/articulate/challenge strategic intent of creative & media.
    • Must know how to resolve conflict (with support from above). Anticipate problems; resolve problems at early stages; know when to ask for help.
    • Excellent communication skills and competency in managing multiple internal/external stakeholders spanning various disciplines and seniority levels. Also be a good listener; develop strong presentation skills. Be persuasive, both internally and externally.
    • Stay calm in stressful situations.
    • Have strong written/verbal skills both in English and German.
    • You are interested in creative communications as a career – you talk about good campaigns, read about advertising, etc. Be proactive; anticipate needs; bring new ideas to the table.

    Please note that advertising agency experience as well as English and German are a must.
