Software Process & Quality Manager (m/f/d)

As a Software Process & Quality Manager, you will lead the optimization, documentation, and alignment of our software processes with overall company standards. Within this role, you will serve as the critical link between the Software Quality and Corporate Quality teams, ensuring that our development processes not only meet regulatory requirements but also achieve the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with stakeholders from all SW teams as well as neighboring departments to streamline and optimize the process, documentation and quality. Additionally, you will play a key role in facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning, driving alignment across teams, and ensuring successful execution of software development goals. While ensuring high quality and lean processes, you will support Quantum-Systems in its mission to become the leader for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• You monitor and refine software development processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and company objectives.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, and product management) to identify areas for process improvements.
• You document and update process workflows to reflect changes and optimizations.
• You prepare and maintain regulatory documentation for software certification, including reviewing technical reports and coordinating with authorities.
• You organize and facilitate PI Planning sessions, coordinating with stakeholders to set objectives and manage team dependencies.
• You track action items from PI Planning and ensure timely resolution and follow-up on open issues.
• You liaise with the corporate quality team to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• You review and analyze process metrics to measure effectiveness, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
