One of our companies is currently looking for a QA Engineer for Xbox Project in Anywhere.
This role offers the opportunity to ensure the highest quality standards for a unique karaoke game featuring AI-driven singing analysis and interactive crowd reactions. As a QA Engineer, you will focus on testing critical features like asynchronous multiplayer gameplay, leaderboard accuracy, and room-based interactions. Your role will be essential in validating Xbox-specific hardware compatibility and providing valuable feedback on performance and user experience. You'll be joining a dynamic, remote team and have the flexibility to work on your schedule while making a significant impact on the gaming experience of millions.
Accountabilities:
- Create, execute, and manage detailed test cases for various game features, including AI-driven components, multiplayer modes, and environment interactions
- Test asynchronous multiplayer functionalities, ensuring smooth gameplay, leaderboard accuracy, and seamless room availability
- Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Trello
- Perform performance testing on Xbox hardware, delivering feedback on game stability, performance, and user experience
- Ensure that online and offline gameplay transitions are smooth and flawless for users
- Collaborate closely with game developers and other QA team members to ensure the highest quality product delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in Xbox QA testing, with deep familiarity with console-specific features and hardware
- Strong understanding of multiplayer mechanics and proficiency in bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal
- Ability to test complex game features, including AI-driven gameplay and multiplayer interactions
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
