What we do.

At Joy_ we believe that gifting should be personal, unique and fun. So pretty much everything that gift cards are not these days. We are convinced that gifting is not necessarily about the physical gift as such, but about the personal touch and creativity that the giver has put into it - and that's exactly what we do. We create a token of love.

Joy_ is a gift card that you can not only personalize and customize in countless ways, but can also be redeemed for each product at each and every online store, to give the recipients the flexibility they deserve.

In this way, we are replacing the dusty players in the huge gift card market and becoming the gifting backbone for the entire e-commerce industry. We want to create not just a gift card, not just a tech solution, but a brand that has a lasting impact on the consumer landscape.

We raised our PreSeed Round beginning of this year with BusinessAngels from the voucher/ecom industry and will further grow now - with you.

Tasks

What the role will involve.

Help making Joy_ the major player in the b2c and b2b space. You will learn how to scale a brand and successfully implement growth engines

Learn everything about Entrepreneurship (by doing it)
You make Joy_ big. Together with the CoFounder you shape the relevant marketing channels and help to establish them.
Set up our performance marketing and outreach strategy and manage its execution.
Determine the relevant channels for our organic content strategy, develop their respective strategies and lead the execution.
Gain a deep understanding of the business model and help build new revenue streams.
Act as the co-founder's sparring partner in all strategic commercial or product discussions.
Play a crucial role in shaping our core product by integrating your brand insights, knowledge of the target audience, and personal vision.

Requirements

What makes a good fit?

We do look at your CV, but what we really care about is your personality, creativity and what you have created in your past.

You have already built something in your career, whether it be your own startup or a side hustle. We are huge fans of a trying and doing mentality.
You are hungry to learn and dig deep into things to make things successful.
You can balance a creative approach with a meticulous eye for detail, along with a data-driven mindset, which includes an in-depth understanding of relevant KPIs.
You understand what younger generations deeply care about, are aware of trends and hypes, especially on social media.
You're experienced with G-Suite and creative tools such as Figma or Illustrator.
You have a native/bilingual level of German and professional level in English
