    Who we need
    We’re the Content team at JustWatch, building the most accurate and up-to-date movie, TV, and sports database. Our platform powers data-driven marketing for the global entertainment industry, promoting everything from blockbusters to indie gems. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help shape the product and create features that impact millions of users.

    We highly value ownership, good communication, and people who take responsibility for what they are working on end-to-end. We need someone who has their ideas and doesn’t rely on perfectly fleshed-out tickets or is interested in translating mockups into code.

    What you will be doing
  • Build the foundation of a new CMS (React, Next.js) to align with the tech stack of other teams at JustWatch and collaborate with developers to drive tooling forward.
  • Develop new features in the CMS, working closely with power users to enhance their day-to-day tools.
  • Take ownership of the existing CMS (Vue 2), manage content on JustWatch, fill in missing movie and TV information, upload posters, match metadata, control scraping infrastructure, and more.
  • Contribute to defining solutions from both UX and UI perspectives, collaborating with the team to improve workflows.
  • Bring your ideas to optimize existing processes, ensuring the movie and TV show data on JustWatch is always up-to-date and accurate.
  • Focus on progress, not perfection - take shortcuts when needed but always return to improve them.
  • Ideally, you'll have an interest in backend work and are open to learning more about Golang and Postgres.

    • What we need from you
  • 4+ years of experience in a Frontend role with any modern framework, ideally TypeScript/Next.js.
  • A strong sense of interface design and UX, focusing on logical workflows, clean design, and simplicity (not necessarily pixel-perfect).
  • A pragmatic, hands-on mindset with a service attitude, eager to solve problems using automation and technology.
  • Passion for solid code craftsmanship, great communication, and writing code that is easy for others to read and maintain.
  • Experience with requirements engineering and fast iteration based on rough sketches or scribbles.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of backend technologies like Golang and Postgres is a strong plus.
