Project description:
As a Software Verification Engineer, you will work in a team of engineers who develop operational and application software for embedded systems in aircraft. Your area of responsibility will include the entire testing of safety-critical real-time software to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
Tasks:
- Specification of software test cases based on applicable safety requirements in the aviation industry
- Development and implementation of low- and high-level software test procedures
- Adaptation of existing test strategies to the requirements of new applications
- Performing manual and automated software tests in simulation environments and on HiL test benches
- Reviewing and analyzing test cases and results and creating test reports
Skills:
- Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable fields of study/training
- Professional experience (min. 2 years) in testing and verification of safety-critical software under DO-178
- Good knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python or Rational Test RealTime
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming
- Basic knowledge in the development of high- and low-level software requirements
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- High flexibility and adaptability as well as an independent way of working in a professional development team a big plus would also be
- Experience with one or more of the following tools: DOORS, DIMENSIONS, Synergy, Lauterbach T32
- Programming skills in C, Ada95 and/or assembler
- German skills
