    To support our team at our customer in the aviation sector, we are looking for a Verification and Certification Engineer - Propulsion System (f/m/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

    Tasks:

    • Support in the development of the drive system, its parts and assemblies, during the product life cycle
    • Specification and support of validation and verification (V&V) activities of the system
    • Interact with multidisciplinary individuals and departments, including design, test and external suppliers, to define, document and execute the V&V activities
    • Creating test plans and working with the test team to execute them
    • Managing requirements through their lifecycle and ensuring their full verification
    • Negotiating with certification authorities for the definition of compliance means, qualification and certification activities
    • Creating certification strategies and compliance reports
    • Creating and managing the V&V plan for the drive system
    • Creation and maintenance of V&V processes and procedures

    Skills:

    • University degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
    • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the aviation industry
    • Experience in the verification/certification of aircraft propulsion systems, preferably CS-E, CS/FAR-23, -25 or -27
    • Experience in the planning, development and management of V&V activities
    • Practical experience in the definition and execution of propulsion test activities highly appreciated
    • Experience in developing, decomposing and working with system requirements, preferably to ARP4754A
    • Knowledge of Part 21J content and requirements
    • Fluency in English Another plus is:
    • Experience with Siemens Polarion or IBM Rational Doors
    • Experience in environmental qualification activities, preferably according to DO-160
    • Experience in creating/approving EASA/FAA certification documentation
    • Experience in working with external suppliers and managing the interaction for the required validation and verification activities
    • Experience in dealing with certification authorities for the qualification and certification activities of aviation systems
    • Fluency in German
