As a (Senior) Business Development Manager – Marketing Projects (m/f/d), you’ll take full ownership of strategic growth initiatives with a clear marketing focus. From identifying untapped opportunities to launching and scaling impactful projects across our sales channels, your work will directly shape KoRo’s next growth chapter. You’ll partner closely with the VP Marketing and collaborate across departments to make things happen.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identify, Evaluate and Implement Growth Opportunities: Proactively research and analyze market and company trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new avenues for growth, with a specific focus on marketing-led initiatives.
- Build Out End-to-End Work Streams: Design and implement comprehensive operational frameworks and processes to support new growth opportunities across all sales channels, ensuring strong alignment with marketing strategies. This includes defining projects and workflows, identifying necessary resources, and establishing clear responsibilities.
- Lead Cross-Functional Project Teams: Collaborate closely with marketing (performance, content, brand), sales, product, tech, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of growth projects.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish, track, and analyze relevant KPIs to track the success of growth initiatives, analyze data to identify areas for optimization, and iterate on strategies accordingly.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of implemented work streams and projects against defined KPIs, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
- Stay Abreast of Marketing Innovations: Continuously research and evaluate new marketing technologies, platforms, and trends to identify potential growth opportunities for KoRo.
Your profile
- You hold a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, growth marketing, or within a fast-paced, high-growth e-commerce environment.
- You are fluent in English and German; additional languages such as French, Italian, or Dutch are a plus!
- You’re either based in Berlin or open to relocating.
- You have a solid understanding of e-commerce ecosystems, including website and app development, as well as the strategic use of online marketing channels to drive scalable business growth.
- You are proficient in key analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Sheets, BigQuery, Tableau and Looker.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects.
- With a sharp analytical mindset, you’re able draw meaningful conclusions from data and derive actionable insights.
- You are known for your proactive and results-oriented approach, taking ownership and driving initiatives forward independently.
- You thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments and stay focused under pressure.
