  • DEINE VERANTWORTUNG

Kranus Health strives to globally set new standards in urological healthcare by offering comprehensive, patient-centric virtual care journeys for various urological conditions (e.g., prostate cancer, voiding dysfunction). We are a founding team with a background in high-growth tech companies (e.g. Palantir, Celonis, Amazon) and Professor Dr. Miller from Charité Berlin with offices in Munich, Berlin and Paris. We have raised over $20M in the last 4 years and have global ambitions.

This role is ideal for software engineers who enjoy Python and have an interest in the entire backend stack – from containers and k8s manifests to data structures. Strong backenddevelopment skills (ideally but not limited to) Python, TDD, understanding of microservices and experience with relational database systems are key requirements of this role. Ideally you also have a familiarity with modern cloud native applications (e.g. Kubernetes, GitOps).

    • Help us build out our multi-region service-oriented cloud native platform
    • Plan, refine & develop features independently
    • Lend a hand with k8s manifests, GitHub CI pipelines etc. – you build it, you own it
    • Work hand in hand in a cross-functional team with other backend engineers as well as mobile engineers & designers
    • Guide less experienced engineers (with the help of your EM as needed)
    • Help us uphold key KPIs (e.g. platform uptime) as well as being a part of our company OKRs

    DEIN WERKZEUGKOFFER

    • Bachelor's or (preferably) Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Strong technical background in software engineering
    • Must-have: backend development (ideally Python & FastAPI), TDD, microservices, relational database systems (ideally PGDB), RESTful API design
    • Ideally: k8s, GitOps (ArgoCD), distributed systems, modern web frameworks (e.g. React)
    • Ability to tackle complex problems independently (first principles!)
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for healthcare and a desire to make a positive impact on the industry.
