What you'll do
- Develop and maintain code to improve Labfolder, addressing new features, bug fixes, and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with the team to refine our processes, improve code quality, and ensure product reliability through peer reviews and testing.
- Build a deep understanding of Labfolder and take ownership of its deployment and support.
- Work pragmatically and effectively to deliver solutions that meet customer needs while improving maintainability and scalability.
- Participate in open communication with colleagues, contributing to a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for
- We’re seeking an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and building reliable, scalable solutions.
- The role involves developing and maintaining code while improving the usability and maintainability of the product. It also requires close collaboration with teammates and cross-functional teams, ensuring solutions are practical and aligned with user needs.

Your profile
- 6+ years of professional experience working in collaborative team environments, contributing to complex software projects.
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Java-based web applications.
- Experience working on SaaS products, including familiarity with scalable architectures, cloud deployment, and delivering continuous value to customers.
- Proficiency in Java and REST API development.
- Hands-on experience with at least one modern Java application framework, preferably Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
- Understanding of test designs, patterns, and anti-patterns, including TDD, BDD, and others.
- Experience with at least one CI tool (e.g., CircleCI, Travis).
- Working knowledge of at least one SQL database, such as MySQL or Postgres.
- Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework, preferably React or AngularJS.
- Familiarity with bundling tools like Webpack.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and SCSS.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization tools like Docker.
- Knowledge of TypeScript and cloud deployment platforms like AWS.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, code coverage tools, and API documentation tools.
- Understanding of OpenID, LDAP, or Active Directory.
