We're looking for a VP of Operations to join our team in Berlin Mitte during this pivotal time and work directly with our Co-Founders. As a VP of Operations at at Lap Coffee you will be instrumental in the success of our brand. Tasks

You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including staffing, training, store workflow and customer satisfaction. You'll lead by example, motivating the team to deliver exceptional service while driving business growth and profitability.

Store operations: Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
Training and development: Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by leading comprehensive training and development programs. Ensure all team members meet LAP’s high-quality standards, while providing growth opportunities, and cultivating strong collaboration and teamwork.
LAP Culture: Be the ambassador of LAP’s culture, fostering a positive and motivating environment across all shops. Empower barista teams to embody LAP’s values, ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
Operational efficiency: Implement industry-leading operational standards to maximize efficiency in all LAP coffee shops. Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, managing costs, and ensuring seamless daily operations.
Customer operations: Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Health and safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Cross-collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and supply chain, to implement company initiatives and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

You bring at least 7 years of operational experience in retail F&B, ideally with a mix of retail food and beverage chains ideally at international level. Experience in the coffee industry will be a massive plus.
You are willing to occasionally travel in order to explore new locations and meet with potential partners.
Your are entrepreneurial, solution orientated and excited to work on the full-cycle of building a start-up diving into whatever topics need to be done
You have a creative flair and eye for spotting growth opportunities. You ideate, test and fail fast with working within tight deadlines and budget constraints
You are fluent in English, German is a strong plus
