Ruby on Rails API Developer

On behalf of our client, an innovative HR tech company with over 50,000 users across Europe, we are seeking an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails API Developer (m/f/x).

Our client is specializes in creating modern solutions that improve work-life, particularly in the area of staff scheduling, enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.

Aufgaben

• Enhance and expand our existing Rails API (Rails 7, MySQL, Memcached, Redis, RSpec, GitHub, etc.)
• Design and implement new features to improve functionality and user experience
• Review and optimize existing code to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
• Participate actively in our agile planning and development cycles
• Mentor and support the development team by sharing your expertise and insights

Qualifikation

• Several years of experience developing with Ruby on Rails especially in API design and implementation (4+ years)
• Familiarity with modern web technologies and best development practices
• Experience with cloud infrastructures and API integration
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in an agile environment
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
