Senior iOS Developer / Co-Founder

Join us in building an app to help humanity beat phone distractions, stop procrastination and master attention.

COMPENSATION Disclaimer:

We are fully bootstrapped and declined funding to this point. We are looking for a person who can commit to work without a salary (3-6 months) to bring the app to a level where we can pay you from revenue or funding. (Similar apps like Opal or One Sec make 7-digit figures)

We are willing to offer substantial equity instead of the salary. Percentage tbd in the hiring process.

ABOUT OUR APP

The smartphone is the best tool that has ever been invented, but it has become toxic by the way people use it. Therefore, we need to hack back and replace harmful habits to make people happier and healthier.

• Our app is live on the App Store.
• It reduces screen time >50%.
• 160,000 app sessions.

Tasks

You will be responsible for

• making use of the iOS Screen Time API, Parental Controls, Shortcut Automations and the Device Activity API.
• finding state-of-the-art tech hacks around Apple's very restrictive/limited nature ;)
• build and A/B test new features.
• retention tracking in Mixpanel (and or other tools) + derive suggestions for improvement from this data.
• our goal is to get out of your way and let you do your best work.

Requirements

You

• always wanted to be the Tech Lead of a startup.
• bring in Co-Founder mentality, passion and drive.
• are excited about mental health and a healthy lifestyle in general.
• have 4+ years of experience in iOS Development
• have launched and maintained apps on the App Store.
• Bonus if you have worked with the iOS Screen Time API, Parental Controls, Shortcut Automations or the Device Activity API.
