Libergy's mission is to decarbonize the mobility & transport industry, whose EU emissions account for ~25% and continue to rise. We help B2B customers in hard-to-abate sectors moderate the drastic shift towards emission-free vehicles by providing sustainable fuels, digitizing energy operations and making emissions and costs transparent and reportable. We build a portfolio of sustainable activities (invest, partner, build) with relevant partners, funds and startups to shape an attractive ecosystem.
We are looking for a full-time Business Development Manager to join us in our Berlin office (near Bahnhof Zoo) as one of our first hires to help us founders build the company.
Tasks
- Identify relevant customer groups (e.g. operators of heavy-duty fleets) & their business needs.
- Conduct analyses on markets or competitors to identify innovation and growth potential.
- Understand regulatory requirements and certifications that drive customer needs.
- Scope possible (tech) solutions to customer problems and what is required to build them.
- Model underlying quantitative calculations and assumptions (e.g. cost, emissions).
- Find relevant players in the industry for strategic partnerships and initiate discussions.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field, e.g. Business, Engineering, Tech or Sustainability.
- 2-4 years of work experience in business development, preferably in GreenTech or Energy.
- Good communication skills (or sales experience) to build good customer relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and a sound understanding of economic & technological interrelations.
- Handling uncertainty and changing responsibilities that you can and have to shape yourself.
- Proficiency in German & English to be able to communicate with customers and partners.
