Your role and your team:
As Commercial Operations Manager, you will report to the Head of Commercial Operations and support the design, development, and optimization of internal operations and reporting.
No two days will be the same and you will be given autonomy to make a meaningful impact. You will be responsible for the commercial risk register to help advance our aircraft program and enable successful entry-into-service. Furthermore, you will provide strategic guidance and tactical support to ensure seamless management of our commercial planning and aircraft delivery process, collaborating with relevant Lilium departments across commercial, manufacturing, program, and engineering.
Day to day:
- Own the commercial SharePoint documentation library, including managing commercial templates, guidelines, and division intranet
- Own the commercial risk register and associated governance to drive solutions and mitigating actions
- Set up efficient structure for defining, monitoring, and updating processes and process descriptions to support Lilium's digital transformation strategy and streamline activities
- Provide regular reports and insights to Head of Commercial Operations and other senior leadership, ensuring highest standards of data quality
- Support the collection, maintenance, and quality management of customer-related information within our CRM, particularly for customer aircraft delivery and associated contractual obligations as required
- Continuously seek ways of optimizing operations across the commercial organization
- Support the execution of airshows and conferences as required
Your Profile:
- 5-7 years commercial operations experience or a similar consulting background, preferably gained within aviation
- Execution focused with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Demonstrated experience building consensus and delivering cross-functional and complex projects that involved collaboration with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills to convey complicated information clearly and effectively
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate dynamic situations and shifting priorities
- Exceptional at building alliances and influencing stakeholders to drive change
- Strategic planning capabilities, with a history of identifying and implementing process improvements
- Master's degree in business or engineering related fields preferred
- Experience gained working as a Chief of Staff will be advantageous
- Fluent English
