    Manufacturing Engineering Manager – Production Equipment Engineering

    Lead and manage a team of Production Equipment Engineers:

    • Provide strong leadership to the Production Equipment team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Set clear expectations, goals, and performance metrics for team members to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and mentorship sessions to support individual growth and development.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and open communication within the team.
    • Promote and foster good interdepartmental relationships by enabling possible synergies and collaboration.

    Oversee the development, selection, procurement, and implementation of Production Equipment across Lilium's factories:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Production Equipment that aligns with the organization's production goals and standards.
    • Oversee the lifecycle of Production Equipment, from conceptualization and design to procurement, implementation, and handover into operations and maintenance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate the most suitable technologies and vendors for Production Equipment.
    • Ensure seamless integration of Production Equipment across internal factories, optimizing efficiency and standardization.

    Enable your team:

    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the technical skills and knowledge base of the team.
    • Ensure that team members have access to the necessary tools, resources, and technology required to perform their roles.
    • Implement prioritization strategies to align the team's efforts with critical business needs and objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment where team members feel empowered to share ideas, provide input, and actively contribute to decision-making processes.

    Lead the team in staying current with technological advancements and best practices:

    • Encourage and facilitate continuous learning opportunities for your team.
    • Establish a knowledge-sharing culture within the team, encouraging the exchange of ideas and best practices.
    • Implement mechanisms for continuous improvement, incorporating feedback and lessons learned into the team's way of working.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in Production Equipment.

    Develop business processes for the Production Equipment domain:

    • Cover process gaps and ensure interface engineering documentation is provided timely.
    • Regularly review and update processes in response to technology, regulatory, and organizational changes.
    • Design and implement streamlined, standardized processes, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Ensure that internal processes for equipment deployment are met.
