    As a Senior Analytics Engineer (m/f/d), you will own and drive the transformation of raw data into scalable, well-structured datasets that empower teams to make impactful business decisions. You will design and optimize data models, define reliable metrics, and ensure seamless access to high-quality data across the company. With your technical expertise and strategic mindset, you will play a key role in enhancing our data infrastructure, fostering a data-driven culture, and enabling informed decision-making at scale.

    What exactly will you do?

    • Scalable Data Models & Metrics: You shape a sustainable data infrastructure by developing well-structured and analytics-ready data models. In collaboration with stakeholders, you define key KPIs and implement robust measurement logic to ensure consistent, reliable and comparable metrics across LIQID.
    • Optimized Data Flows & Self-Service Capabilities: Leveraging tools like dbt, BigQuery, and Looker BI, you build efficient, transparent, and accurate reporting solutions. You ensure that data flows and transformations are structured efficiently to meet business requirements while enabling teams to make informed decisions through seamless access to high-quality data and self-service tools.
    • Continuous Improvement of the Data Infrastructure: You evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously enhance the performance and scalability of our data platform. By optimizing existing processes and introducing innovative solutions, you drive excellence in our data infrastructure.

    What you bring

    • Background: You have a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a similar field, or comparable practical experience. You have at least 5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering, ideally in the financial sector.
    • Skills and qualifications: You are proficient in SQL and Python and have experience in data modeling, transformation, and analysis. You work with modern data stack tools like dbt, BigQuery, and Looker, or similar technologies. You are also familiar with version control and CI/CD workflows (e.g., Git). Your problem-solving skills are strong, and you can communicate complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical teams. Experience in the FinTech sector is a plus, but a strong interest in financial services and data-driven decisions is essential. You are fluent in English; German is a plus.
    • Mindset: You think analytically, pragmatically, and in a goal-oriented manner. Your growth mindset motivates you to continuously strive for improvements.
