We are currently recruiting a Working Student in Data Engineering for our Berlin office who will become a core part of our team. We have expertise in data analysis, data engineering, and machine learning, so our team is equipped to handle almost any challenge. We need your skills to help complement our own so we can keep on building a great data platform, automate processes and derive insights and truly be ready for any situation.

What you will do

Use our current technology stack made up of Terraform, Big Query, Airflow and Superset

Work within the central data team to ingest data from various data sources (e.g., Netsuite, Salesforce or Iterable) and bring it into the data lake.

Fetch data from APIs, cloud storage buckets and streaming sources.

Collaborate with analytics engineering team members, analysts and stakeholders from across the business to define and build the group’s data platform will be your key task.

What you should bring

Experience working as part of a team and communicating with stakeholders across the business

Proven experience with Python, Big Query and SQL, especially around understanding and refactoring existing code

Experience working with APIs and writing robust code

Ability to read, analyze and modify data schemas, especially regarding data types and sensitive data (such as personally identifiable information)
