Your tasks
- You work within a wider team of professionals to ensure that the final products meet customer and business expectations while keeping the process as effective and cost-efficient as possible
- You set up and test robots prior to shipping to customers.
- You analyze, troubleshoot and report defects on Hardware and Software
- You improve our testing scripts and methods, on tests performed during production on component level or on functional and performance tests on system level
- You support production with finding, investigating and troubleshooting defects
- You develop, maintain and prepare demos for showing off our robots
Requirements
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
- You have a good understanding of adjacent disciplines: mechanics, electronics, networks, etc.
- You have good knowledge of Linux, Python, ROS.
- You have been exposed to procedures for product testing, either by developing tests yourself or by using existing tests.
- Fluency in English is required, and basic German skills are helpful
- Nice to have:
- Experience with requirements, test cases and test execution documentation
- Experience with debugging electromechanical systems and various sensors (e.g. stereo cameras, time-of-flight, laser)
- Experience with working on production floor environment and test equipment
- Hands-on mentality in tackling complex problems
- Experience with robotic and/or embedded software development
- Exposed to concepts of Quality Eng and Reliability Eng
