Your tasks
- You will be responsible for driving the quality of our software stack through strategic testing, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- You lead efforts to optimize and improve the integration testing strategy for our robotics systems, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and seamless integration across all software components. Ensure that components are tested at the appropriate (unit, integration, and system testing) and with appropriate methods. Drive test automation where possible.
- You collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to drive improvements in the quality of the code being produced, setting high standards for software excellence, and helping developers address issues before they become roadblocks.
- You oversee testing resources and ensure proper allocation across various projects. Advocate for necessary resources to meet testing goals and timelines.
- You help schedule QA tasks, prioritize testing activities, and contribute to the development of the overall software QA roadmap to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality robotics software.
- You identify and implement best practices for software testing, reporting, and debugging, ensuring that the QA process aligns with the broader team goals of efficiency and high performance.
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have significant experience in embedded software quality assurance, including working with integration testing, system-level testing, and collaborating closely with developers.
- You possess strong technical knowledge in software testing, including proficiency with tools and methodologies for integration testing, automated testing, and test case design. Strong understanding of Linux, Python, ROS, and other relevant software technologies.
- You are an excellent communicator, capable of working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality goals are met.
- Fluency in English is required, with a solid ability to communicate technical details clearly and effectively.
