Your tasks
- You are responsible for the electrical development, design and implementation of our innovative robotic solutions.
- You design the electrical wiring and circuit boards for our robots and ensure that they comply with applicable standards.
- You supervise the products from the prototype phase through pre-series production to serial production, testing and documenting changes.
- You perform functional testing and troubleshooting on our robots
- You take responsibility for your work packages through to product integration, keeping an eye on quality, time and cost.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in the development and design of mechatronic products, ideally in the field of mobile robotics.
- You have experience with electrical safety standards and EMC-compliant design.
- Ideally, you have experience in PCB design with Altium
- Experience with EPLAN P8 and Harness ProD (or other wiring tools)
- You have a hands-on mentality and are creative and quick to grasp new ideas.
- You have a structured and independent way of working
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Ideally, you also have experience in the following areas:
- Standards: ISO 3691-4, EN 1175, EN ISO 13849, IEC 61010-1
- Product certification processes
- Experience with Safe-PLC’s
- Experience in CAD software (ideally Solidworks)
- Basic programming in Python, C / C++
