Your tasks
- You assist in the development and optimization of simulation environments for testing and validating robotic systems.
- You maintain and improve ROS-based simulation nodes and libraries to enhance system performance.
- You analyze simulation results and contribute to the evaluation of robotic behaviors in virtual environments.
- You collaborate with the Simulation team to design and execute your own tasks and projects.
Requirements
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- You have a genuine interest in robotics and simulation topics, with some prior hands-on experience being a plus.
- You have strong programming skills in C++ or Python.
- You are fluent in English; German is a plus
- Ideally:
- You are familiar with ROS tools and methods, particularly for simulation and virtual environment creation.
- You have experience working with robotic simulators such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
- You know sensor modeling and integration, such as 2D/3D cameras, laser scanners, or IMUs, in simulation environments.
- You possess a structured and independent working style with a problem-solving mindset.
