Tasks
Develop and Optimize APIs:
Design, implement, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs that are robust, scalable, and secure, ensuring seamless integration with our partners and clients.
Database Management:
Design and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure high performance and reliability in large-scale, real-time environments (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Infrastructure & Scalability:
Collaborate with the team to build a scalable infrastructure capable of supporting rapid customer growth.
DevOps & Deployment:
Support the automation of infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Maintain System Reliability:
Ensure uptime, system health, and scalability by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Product, Frontend, and AI teams to deliver high-quality features and solutions that align with business objectives.
Security Best Practices:
Implement best practices for API and database security, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Requirements
Experience:
4+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on APIs and databases.
Experience in fast-growing start-ups or dynamic environments is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, or similar).
Strong expertise in API development (REST, GraphQL) and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Problem-Solving Mindset:
Ability to analyze complex issues and come up with scalable, maintainable solutions.
