    We take pride in our three CE-certified products, mdbrain, mdknee, and mdprostate, which have become market leading across Europe. As our QA Engineer, you'll be the guardian of software quality in products that are transforming the future of medical diagnostics.


    Your mission

    • Drive quality assurance: Ensure our medical software products meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance

    • You will be responsible for the risk-based testing strategy for our products, cooperating with multiple stakeholders from engineering, support and regulatory

    • While you will be testing the product hands-on, your focus will be on designing and building scalable test automations, both for frontend and backend

    • You will define test and release plans for each release together with product owners

    • You will champion software quality best practices across engineering teams and improve our testing plans and guidelines

    • You will continuously assess the performance of our QA system by defining and tracking quality metrics like bugs per release

    • You will contribute to our modern software infrastructure based on docker and gitlab CI


    Your profile

    • Quality-driven mindset: Passionate about software quality and experienced in developing effective test strategies

    • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

    • 2+ years of work experience in the field of software quality assurance

    • Experience with advanced test automation frameworks and practices

    • Solid understanding of python and typescript

    • Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools like pytest and selenium/playwright/cypress

    • Solid knowledge of linux

    • Solid engineering skills: You know about version control, unit testing and continuous integration, and you value best practices and good code quality

    • Located in Germany

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with medical imaging

    • Experience with cloud computing (e.g. on AWS) and docker

    • Regulatory awareness: Familiarity with medical software regulations (e.g., FDA, CE marking)

    • Performance testing: Experience with load testing and performance optimization

    • Security testing: Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools
