Tasks
- Participate in software architectural design and implementation.
- Coordinate, plan, and develop and bring to production-grade submodules of the Scene Understanding layer, which is responsible for fusing objects, determining their trajectories, localising the ego-vehicle and other objects, and matching with map information.
- Test developed solutions in real-vehicle environments.
- Contribute to creating and refining software development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design sensor requirements.
- Support the installation of electrical equipment in vehicles.
- Document all development and implementation processes.
Requirements
A self-starter who can lead a team successfully delivering milestones
- Degree in Robotics, Localization, Sensor Fusion or equivalents.
- Proven experience in software development and leading a small team.
- Proficiency in C++, Python
- Familiarity with model-based design approaches.
- Ability to comprehend interaction of submodules in a complex system.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Would be a plus
- Experience working with robotics or autonomous vehicles.
- Fundamental grasp of deep learning principles
- Field testing experience with complex systems, including autonomous platforms, robotics, or motorsport projects.
- Enthusiasm for autonomous driving technology and a strong technology interest.
- Familiarity with agile development methods.
- Knowledge of ISO26262 and safe design approaches.
- A valid driver’s license.
- German language skills.
