Munich Electrification is an innovative company founded with the aim of accelerating the transition to electric mobility. We develop innovative battery management systems for electric vehicles for our global customers. In 2022, we founded the Joint Venture QULECTRA together with Wieland-Werke AG.
Both companies share a multi-year partnership in the provision of battery management systems with shunt-based precision resistors. Your Role
As an Embedded Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development of current sensing modules for high voltage batteries in various customer vehicles and applications. Your responsibilities will encompass both low-level and functional software development, utilizing languages such as C and C++. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring a timely implementation that adheres to relevant automotive safety standards, including ISO 26262.
Your Responsibilities Development of low-level software as well as functional software for current sensing modulesImplementation of safety applications to ensure the functional safety concept of the HV batteryDesign of efficient algorithms for real-time data processing enhancing the overall system performanceEnsuring the software implementation in accordance with the relevant automotive safety standardsClose collaboration with the testing team for test case definition and software testingGeneration of comprehensive documentation outlining software architecture, algorithms, and interfaces, facilitating knowledge transfer and future maintenanceParticipation in the definition of the overall battery management system architecture, providing insights into software-related considerations for optimal system performanceYour ProfileUniversity degree in the fields of engineering (software, electronics, mechanics)At least 3 years of professional experience in the automotive software development (C/C++)Experience or knowledge in the field of current sensing, HV batteries, battery management systems is a plusIdeally knowledge of different communication busses (CAN, LIN, SPI, ISOSPI) and protocols/standards (e.g. J1939, Odx)Experience with working with automotive norms like ISO26262, ASPICE, ISO21434Knowledge in the field of microcontrollers and applicable tools (AURIX Tricore, TI Hercules, NXP S32)Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions for electric vehicles ▪ Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English)Our Offer
