Tasks

And this will be your mission:

• You will set up the complete backend infrastructure for our new product from scratch, integrating AI-powered recommendation services.
• In close collaboration with product management, you will develop a comprehensive service landscape that includes API connections and databases.
• Together, you will plan and co-design the backend architecture.
• In the team, you will define and optimize the software lifecycle, including CI/CD processes.
• You will mentor junior team members and actively exchange knowledge with other teams.
• With your expertise and experience, you will increasingly influence and significantly contribute to shaping the team culture of this new team. (This allows you to develop towards a team lead role anytime - here you have all possible technical and disciplinary perspectives!)

Requirements

Requirements: You are the right person if you:

• Bring strong skills and practical experience in Golang for high-performance backend applications.
• Have excellent knowledge in object-oriented programming, software architectures, and design patterns.
• Possess very good skills in using and programming APIs and building MySQL and/or in-memory databases.
• Have experience in unit testing and maintain high-quality standards.
• Want to express your enthusiasm for innovative ideas in backend development.
• Your work philosophy is characterized by teamwork, high commitment, and an independent working style.
• Communicate fluently with your team members in English and have good knowledge of the German language (at least B1 level).
• Are always eager to learn, even if you don’t currently possess all these skills but are willing to develop them further.
