    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Can you imagine yourself playing a key role in developing the IT Infrastructure of a rapidly growing international market leader in spatial technologies?  

    In this position, you will act as the first point of contact for NavVis employees seeking technical assistance, while having the chance to take complete ownership of incoming requests on our IT Service Desk platform. 

    You will join an international and interdisciplinary team that is dedicated to the continuous development of our high-quality IT systems. The Service Delivery subteam, which you will be an important part of, is at the core of maintaining the IT infrastructure at NavVis,  deploying critical IT solutions as well as performing a wide variety of day-to-day IT operations activities, providing service desk support, troubleshooting and incident response. 

     

    HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    • You will have the crucial responsibility of determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided though our IT Service Desk platform 
    • You will be responsible for maintaining PCs and peripherals, including printers, as well as keeping the IT Asset Management up to date 
    • You will play an active role in the preparation of hardware, software and networking configuration for new users 
    • You will be deeply involved in troubleshooting of hardware / software issues for PCs, mobile devices and network devices 
    • You will take ownership of recording, tracking and documenting issues in a structured way

     

    WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

    • University degree in computer science, information system etc. 
    • Passion for IT systems and 1-2 years of work experience in IT support will enable you to quickly take ownership of key responsibilities 
    • Basic Networking skills 
    • Well-established skills in JIRA Service Desk and experience with Linux command-line, Active Directory Basic Management and Office 365 will empower you to work independently on and take ownership of your tasks 
    • Your strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, together with an open mind and approachable attitude, will enable you to solve any IT-related issue 
    • Knowledge in AZURE AD would be an added benefit 
    • Fluency in English is required since it is our official language of communication
