For our client in the energy sector, we are looking for a Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) in Karlsruhe, available as soon as possible.

Duration: 12 project months (temporary employment)
Location: Karlsruhe/Remote
Workload: Full-time; 36 hours/week
Annual Gross Salary: 66,000 Euros
The developer will have close and continuous interaction with the Product Owner as well as with other team members (Traders, Quants, Trading IT). The developer will present demos and mock-ups in short delivery cycles in an agile environment.
Tasks
- Supporting the software development of trading tools used by asset traders and portfolio managers in a small team of motivated developers.
- Operations of backend infrastructure using Amazon AWS and Azure, with guidance from enterprise architects and IT.
Requirements
- Proven and extensive experience in front-end and back-end development in either industrial or open-source projects (mandatory: > 2 years of experience).
- Proven and extensive experience with TypeScript, ideally using Angular for frontend and NodeJS for backend development.
- Experience with frontend state management frameworks such as NgRx, Redux, or VueX.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with testing & test frameworks.
- Experience with Git version control and maintaining clean changelogs.
- Experience with application deployment (e.g., Azure build pipelines, CI/CD).
- Holding a STEM degree is an advantage.
- Self-starter, capable of working remotely with minimal guidance.
- Motivated, tenacious, and proactive in achieving results.
- Experience working in a complex, integrated commercial environment.
- Diligent, dependable, and possessing strong integrity (a good team player).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic knowledge of the energy or financial industry sector (trading environment) is an advantage.
