  • Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industrial sector, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing relationships with key customers, and driving growth for the Collets and Toolholders product line. This position requires a strong technical sales background, particularly in machine tools and modular tools. You will play a key role in identifying market opportunities, providing tailored solutions, and achieving sales targets.

    Tasks

    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in your region, ensuring long-term collaboration.
    • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities across all product lines.
    • Sales Calls: Regularly follow up on leads and initiate contact with potential customers to expand the client base.
    • Market Strategy Development: Develop market strategies and set sales goals for each product and service offered.
    • Sales Reporting: Generate detailed reports on sales performance and market trends to inform decision-making.
    • Customer Needs Analysis: Understand customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized product solutions.
    • Industry Trends & Technical Knowledge: Stay updated on industry developments and technological advances affecting your product lines.
    • Presentations & Workshops: Prepare and present technical sales presentations to customers, and lead workshops where needed.
    • Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation process to secure contracts and close deals.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement), preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • Experience: At least 5 years of sales experience in an industrial environment, with expertise in machine tools, modular tools, cutter grinders, or tool grinding equipment.
    • Languages: German: Native or bilingual proficiency (required)
    • English: Fluent proficiency (required)
    • French: Professional proficiency (preferred but not essential)
    • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to visit customers and foster relationships. Occasional travel to Switzerland for product training may also be required.
    • Work Location: Candidates must be based in Germany or Austria.
    • Training: The successful candidate will participate in product training sessions at the client’s facilities in Switzerland.
