  • Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their innovative and research-driven team specializing in protecting against voice fraud and providing cutting-edge voice authentication services. Trusted by 8 out of 10 top US banks, this leading company empowers call centers to combat fraudulent activities such as identity theft and voice scams effectively. The role involves contributing to the development of a groundbreaking solution in Ukraine, working alongside a talented global team dedicated to innovation and excellence in the technology space.

    Tasks

    • Oversee and execute all aspects of DevOps and SRE processes related to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Implement, monitor, and manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts.
    • Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and other automation tools.
    • Design and implement full-service solutions, including computing, networking, and storage.
    • Manage standard DevOps tools, including logging, monitoring, and alerting systems like Prometheus and Elasticsearch.
    • Write robust and scalable code in Python, Java, or Golang for DevOps tools and processes.
    • Collaborate across engineering teams to clarify requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
    • Participate in on-call rotation approximately once every 4–6 weeks, aligned with a "follow the sun" model for daytime coverage.

    Requirements

    • Experience: 5–7 years in a DevOps role, with at least 2 years focused on GCP.
    • Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and proficiency in Terraform and Helm charts.
    • Technical Breadth: Strong understanding of computing, network, and storage services.
    • Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Golang.
    • Monitoring and Metrics: Hands-on experience with tools like Prometheus for alerting and monitoring.
    • DevOps Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard tools for logging, monitoring, and incident management.
    • Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-team communication and negotiation abilities, with client interaction experience being a plus.
