Head of Data&AI Operations (m/w/d)

We are seeking a talented and passionate Teamlead to join our innovative team at Niologic. As the leader of our operations team, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in the space of AI that drive our customers' business forward.

Aufgaben

As a teamlead for Data & AI operations at Niologic, you are responsible for a team of 3 engineers with the following duties:

• Quality and Sustainability: Develop robust, scalable, and efficient software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks,
• Reliability: operate Data Pipelines and AI services, which our customers can rely on;
• System Integration: Collaborate with our customers to gather requirements, design, and integrate our AI solutions into their subsystems,
• Growth: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and work with our architects on streamlined system architectures,
• Mentorship: Guide team members in their technical and personal development journey,
• Customer Care: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software performance with our customers in mind
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifikation

You are leading by example and best-practices:

• Masters degree in Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on mentality in customer service and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• 5+ years of professional software development experience (counting after bachelor graduation)
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Rust, Go, C++) and knowledge of scripting languages like Python
• Familiarity with software design patterns and principles
• Understanding of Cloud and modern Data Stacks
• Deep Understanding and Passion about test-driven development and software quality

Most our customers are located in Germany. Hence, we expect you do speak German on a professional level (Unicert C1 or C2).
