Einleitung
We are looking for a senior backend engineer (m/f/x) to join our enterprise console team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining our high scale game server orchestrator as well as other services. As a senior backend engineer (m/f/x), you will design, implement, and test scalable and reliable web API’s that power our enterprise console. You will also collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver a great user experience. You will work with a modern stack based on Go, K8S and other cloud native technologies. You will also have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to our open source projects.
Your mission
You lead the design, development, and maintenance of web API’s that support the enterprise console features and functionality.
You ensure high quality, performance, and security of the backend code and infrastructure by applying best practices and standards, conducting code reviews, and performing testing and monitoring.
You debug and troubleshoot complex issues across the entire stack and provide root cause analysis and solutions.
You collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver user-centric solutions that meet the business and technical requirements.
You provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and share your knowledge and expertise with the team.
You stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the backend development field and evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks as needed.
Your profile
You have a Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably with Go.
You have strong knowledge in designing scalable and fault tolerant Web API’s, through modern principles like Event Driven Design
You have experience with K8S, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.
You have experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and code quality tools.
You have excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
You have experience in game development and building products for developers preferred.
