Einleitung
As an Engineering Manager (m/f/x) for the Product Enterprise Console, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers who are building and maintaining a game server orchestration platform that powers some of the most popular online games. You will work closely with product managers, and other stakeholders to define the roadmap, and architecture of the platform. You will also mentor, coach, and grow your team members, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Your mission
You manage the engineering team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.
You define and implement the technical strategy, architecture, and best practices for the game server orchestration platform.
You collaborate with product managers, and other engineering teams to align on the product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
You provide technical guidance, feedback, and code reviews to your team members.
You hire, onboard, mentor, and develop engineers and help them grow their skills and careers.
You foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.
You contribute to and leverage open source software and communities.
Your profile
You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with 2 years of experience in leading engineering teams.
You have strong knowledge and experience in go and k8s, and familiarity with cloud-native technologies and practices.
You have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.
You have experience in game server orchestration, game development, or related domains is preferred but not required.
You have excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
You have experience in game development and building products for developers preferred.
