    ABOUT THE ROLE

    In this exciting role, you'll be a vital member of our regional finance team, providing direct support to the Regional Head of Finance. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the financial cycle, from month end close to reporting and analysis You will work collaboratively across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, while also contributing to strategic financial initiatives.

    This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to lead a team and drive financial excellence across a dynamic regional business unit. You will be responsible for the full financial cycle, from month-end close to strategic analysis, partnering with various departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve financial goals.

    • Support the Regional Head of Finance in all aspects of regional financial operations.
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring adherence to Local GAAP and company policies.
    • Participate in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, meeting established deadlines.
    • Assist with the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
    • Analyse monthly balance sheets and P&Ls, identifying key trends and variances.
    • Assist with bank account reconciliation and oversee activity for multiple entities.
    • Process journal entries within the ERP system (Exact Online) with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Partner with HR and payroll providers to ensure smooth payroll processing and timely tax payments.
    • Manage aspects of the fixed asset ledger, coordinating with IT and Accounts Payable.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify areas for cost optimisation.
    • Assist with inter-company transaction reconciliations and consolidation efforts.
    • Prepare and support the creation of management reports.
    • Contribute to year-end audits and assist with the preparation of year-end financials and budgets.
    • Support with quarterly and annual tax filings.
    • Participate in ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by the Regional Head of Finance.
    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist with the preparation of additional management reports.
    • Support year-end audits and prepare year-end financial statements, cash flow statements, and budgets.
    • Contribute to quarterly and annual tax filings.
    • Lead and undertake ad-hoc financial projects as assigned.

    ABOUT YOU

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
    • Min 2 years of experience in a financial analyst or accounting role.
    • Experience working within a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Experience with ERP systems (Exact Online preferred).
    • Proficiency in Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
