Machine Learning Engineer (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Improve ML Systems: Focus on enhancing our machine learning systems, particularly in the area of computer vision. You'll be involved in training, evaluating, and optimizing our training pipelines.
• Develop Data-Driven Solutions: Assist in the development and improvement of various data-driven systems within OCELL, contributing to innovative and effective solutions.
• Promote Code Quality and Engineering Excellence: Help uphold high standards of code quality, software engineering practices, and data-driven thinking within our team.

Requirements

• Completed a master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working experience as a machine learning engineer, with a strong background in computer vision.
• Strong fundamental understanding of ML systems.
• Solid mathematics, statistics, and science skill set.
• Multiple years of experience with Python, Git, software testing, and CI/CD.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work in a small, agile team with quick decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exceptional general software engineering skills.
• Experience with PyTorch.
• Experience working with geodata.
• Proficiency in German.
