Working Student AI Engineer (m/f/d) in Medical Technology / Eye Care

To strengthen our team, we are seeking a dedicated working student AI Engineer (m/f/d) who will contribute significantly to making our vision a reality. In this position, you will work within our AI team, developing innovative AI solutions for eye diagnostics.

Tasks

• Develop and implement AI algorithms for the early diagnosis of eye diseases
• Optimize existing AI models and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency
• Integrate AI solutions into our existing products and systems (MLOps)
• Collaborate with our AI scientists to research and evaluate new approaches and technologies
• Analyze and prepare data for training and validation of AI models
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of developed AI algorithms
• Stay updated with current trends and developments in AI and medical image processing

Requirements

You are a good fit for this role if you

• Are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Have experience in developing and implementing AI algorithms, ideally in the medical field
• Possess strong knowledge of machine learning, neural networks, and deep learning
• Have programming skills in Python and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Have experience with the deployment and lifecycle management of AI models (MLOps)
• Have experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure
• Are a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Are fluent in English (spoken and written)
