We are seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic and growing e-commerce team. As a Junior Web Developer, you will assist in developing, customising, and maintaining our Shopify stores. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for web development, e-commerce, and learning new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

You will develop and customise Shopify themes to meet project requirements
You will implement responsive designs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility
You will assist with the integration of third-party apps and APIs
You will collaborate with our designers and project managers to translate design mockups into fully functional Shopify websites
You will help support the team to optimise website performance and user experience
You can troubleshoot and resolve bugs or issues in Shopify stores
You will support the team in testing and quality assurance
You will stay updated with the latest Shopify features, apps, and industry best practices

Your profile

Experience:

You have at least 2 years of experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
You have experience with version control systems (e.g., Github)
A previous internship or project experience with Shopify or web development is advantageous Qualifications:
You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
You have or are currently following a degree or formal qualification in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field Skills:
You have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
You are familiar with Liquid, Shopify's templating language
You have an understanding of web development principles and responsive design
You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
You have good communication skills and eagerness to learn
